A larger sized cylinder in the propane cylinder range from Calor Gas.  A 13KG propane cylinder will be too large to fit in the front locker of a caravan. Ideal for Multi season camping or caravanning, as propane gas does not freeze and therefore can used all year round.
  • Dimensions : Height-580mm Diameter-315mm
  • Popular with canal and narrow boats for cooking and heating
  • Also used by catering vans and industrial appliances such as shrink wrap guns and floor sweepers in factories
  • Regulator type: POL screw connection (propane)
  • Recommended Offtake: 15 kW (1.05 kg/h)

What is the difference between Propane and Butane gas ?

LPG boils to produce gas (vapour):

  • Propane boils at -42°C so can be used in arctic conditions.
  • Butane boils at -0.5°C so when the ambient temperature falls to around freezing no gas is produced and even at around +4°C the pressure is often too low to be useful.

 PLEASE NOTE:
We cannot ship Gas bottles that include Gas. These can only be collected from our store.
